Enrichment Programme
Working with institutions is a key part of how we create social change. We are determined to support institutions, be it schools, businesses, community centres or local youth groups, by using our expertise to create tailored programmes working alongside parents, teachers and community leaders to tackle the problems of students & professionals.
This takes our work from the sphere of educational and careers based attainment towards a holistic, development based approach to student support, introducing mindsets, and providing opportunities to learn and apply new skills.
Understanding our ‘Why’
When creating our Enrichment Programme we identified 3 key issues which we could tackle.
-
Uneven Playing Field
Financially disadvantaged: Deprived of resources, hinders individuals to obtain dream universities and jobs
Socially Disadvantaged: lack of Mentorship and role moles limits calling of ambition and drive
-
The 'Bubble'
Individuals are products of their social circles and tend to remain with other like-minded individuals.
This results in difficulty when navigating unfamiliar backgrounds leading to Imposter Syndrome.
-
Incomplete Holistic Development
Individuals are target oriented and tend to focus on HOW to achieve their goals. suppressing their WHY.
This can lead to a lack of motivation and future crisis.
Programme Overview
The programme is designed to provide students with a toolkit for development. We begin by emphasising the significance of goal setting and ambitions, followed by a vital session on the soft skills. Students are also introduced to a diverse range of career paths, helping them to paint a picture for their future. Finally, the programme offers an opportunity to showcase the knowledge and skills gained through a community-building activity to conclude the programme.
